Since most of the trails follow old logging roads, they reach into the quiet depths of the forests and offer limitless opportunities for riders of all ages and experience levels to explore the peaks, views and majestic charms of the mountains.This new equestrian center offers top-notch stables and other facilities, making Balsam Mountain Preserve the perfect place to ride and relax with friends and family. With our full time stable manager, Scott Huse, D.V.M., you will be able to enjoy riding lessons and trail rides with an experienced guide. A riding arena adds to this amenity and makes it easy for children to learn the basic horsemanship skills. Of course, riding through Balsam Mountain's vast preserve, will offer you a way to get back in touch with nature. It won't be long before you understand why people around here believe that you haven't truly experienced the mountains until you've experienced them on horseback.
